Junior High students enter a phase where they develop the capacity for logical reasoning, asking "why" in search of the truth. During this time of growth, the Stella Maris students develop a deeper understanding of how to use what they have learned and how to impact the world. Through our Formation Model of Education, students build independence and ownership of their human, intellectual, spiritual and stewardship formation.
We provide a learning environment and instructors who guide students in the exploration of language, fine arts, physical education, history, mathematics, science and the richness of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. Students are guided through challenging material to further their success, and are taught how to be successful middle school students, prepared for high school.
We offer extra-curricular activities in athletics, fine arts and life skills. Current 7th and 8th graders may participate in high school athletics.
